Fiona & Brent Rollings

When we were offered the chance to move to Napier two years ago (from Wellington) we jumped at it. We had visited Napier a few years earlier and decided if we were ever offered the opportunity to move here we would take it. We have lived here since August 2009 and haven't looked back. We love this little city for numerous reasons - the weather, proximity to vineyards and lifestyle.

Fiona is a Massage Therapist having trained in 2004 at the Wellington School of Massage Therapy. Guests are welcome to book an appointment with Fiona and massage costs are charged separately. Now having retired from competitive dragonboating and outrigging, Fiona also enjoys being outside in the garden. She still keeps active and walks their re-homed Greyhound most days so she can point you in the direction of some lovely local walks if you feel like stretching your legs. When the weather is horrid (not often!) she enjoys working on her craft projects.

Brent enjoys being in Hawke's Bay as he can indulgle in his hobby of wine collecting and wine tasting with much closer proximity to the world class vineyards. He is also a keen scuba diver and has dived in numerous places including Poor Knights (New Zealand), Dahab (Egypt), Great Barrier Reef (Australia) and Cozumel, Mexico.

Brent and Fiona have a young son, William. One of their favourite family outtings on a Sunday is to visit the Hawkes' Bay Farmers' Market to collect supplies for the week, then off to Keirunga Gardens (Havelock North) for a ride on the minature trains then back home to relax in the sun eating the freshly brought produce.

We try to look after our environment as much as we can and recycle, reuse and compost wherever possible. The garden is continually under development, aiming to be more productive. Inside the cottage and house we use ecostore cleaning products. These are environmentally friendly and are developed and produced in New Zealand.
